Bio

Based in Montreal, Katy is a composer, songwriter, and classical pianist. Her choral compositions have been performed by the University of Waterloo choir, Choeur Adleisia, and the Canadian Experimental choir, and she won the 2024 Canadian Federation of Music Teacher Association's composition competition.

Forest and Stream is a short piece built for playfulness and experimentation. Singers can keep it simple, with one vocal line to sing again and again, or they can switch parts. Advanced singers can improvise! Contact me to obtain scores.
